POSITION SUMMARY: FUJIFILM Dimatix is looking for a motivated person to join our Equipment and Technical Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing and conducting technical projects including the design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of electronic apparatus, components or circuitry for use in electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and devices. This candidate must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to identify and solve complex problems with minimal supervision. This is a hands-on position requiring creative thinking and an eagerness to tackle new challenges.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Lead the specification, design, estimating, hardware/software integration, installation, acceptance testing, and documentation phases for new equipment - Develop procedures and define preventative maintenance programs for new equipment - Provide support for existing software & hardware - Conceive and plan projects involving the exploration and resolution of product and/or process problems

REQUIRED: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and 8 or more years of related experience - Design experience, including systems design & debug (hardware, software, motion control, etc.) - Experience writing complex VB.NET and/or C# applications - Competent skills with PLC (preferably Allen Bradley), networking, device communications, integration and system design - Strong co-ordination and project management skills to handle complex projects - Problem-solving skills utilizing science and engineering to arrive at practical solutions - Ability to work alone or in teams in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and cross-functional teams - Engineering documentation skills including product specifications, test procedures, analytical reports, etc. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability and willingness to mentor less experienced engineers - Database experience (SQL or Oracle). Ability to create new data structures, use stored procedures, develop user defined functions, etc.
